The All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission in to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges across the country.

It is an annual medical entrance examination in India.

The step-wise procedure for AIPMT Counseling-

The candidates are required to Register themselves: The candidates are required to enter their Roll Number, Names, Application Number and Date of Birth.

Fill in the choices: Here, the candidates are required to enter their choices for the colleges. They can also interchange their choices and delete the multiple choices chosen by them.

Locking up of choices: In this step, the candidates can lock their choices. The candidates must remember that the once the choices are locked, the candidates cannot unlock it.

After the locking of choices, the process of Seat Allotment will be held: The candidates will be allotted seats in the medical or dental colleges according to their ranks, choices and availability of seats.

The release of the AIPMT Seat Allotment result: The list of candidates selected according to their rank and choice.

Reporting at the allotted centres with the required documents: The candidates are required to take admission at the given time period. Failing to do so may result in cancellation to their candidature
