AIPMT is All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Test
AIPMT 2016 is the medical entrance examination for admission to 15% All India quota seats.

Name of exam – All India Pre Medical / Dental Test
Course offered – MBBS, BDS.
Seats – 2400+ (figure as of last year).
Exam conducting body – Central Board of Secondary Education
Date of Exam – May 1, 2016.

AIPMT 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Age limit – To be eligible to appear in the AIPMT exam, contender must be at least 17 years old

Nationality – Indian nationals as well as OCI contenders may appear for the exam.

Educational qualification required to appear in AIPMT.

Contender must have appeared (or will be appearing in 2016) class 10+2 or equivalent exam. The candidate must appear and qualify in the class 12th exam with PCB and English (with Maths or any approved fifth subject).
B.Sc applicants who have appeared (or will be appearing in 2016) final exam with at least two of PCB in B.Sc subjects and PCBE (and fifth subject) in qualifying exam
Applicant must obtain at least 50% marks in PCB or 45% (General PH) or 40% (SC / ST / OBC).
