AIPMT ability
I want to appear in the All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test - AIPMT, 2015 but I have no idea about its eligibility requirements. So can you please provide me details about the All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test eligibility requirements?

AIPMT 2018 (All India Pre Medical Test) is replaced with NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). NEET has taken the place of AIPMT from the year 2016. The Central Board of Secondary Education is available for provides the detailed guidelines with regard to the eligibility criteria for the forthcoming edition of the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) scheduled to be held next year in May. Eligibility for 15% All India Quota Seats: Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India are Eligible for appearing in the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) subject to the conditions. He/She has completed age of 17 years for admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS course The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats in Medical/Dental Colleges run by the Union of India. State Govt., Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the State of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir is 25 years for the entrance examination Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of SC/ST/OBC Expected dates: Issue of Notification 1st week of December 2017 Last date to submit application form without late fee 4th week of December 2017 Online correction in application form One week after the last date is over Admit card released 1st week of April 2018 AIPMT (NEET) 2018 exam date 1st week of May 2018 Declaration of result June 2018 Qualification Criteria: Qualifying Exam: Candidates must pass the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry Biology/Bio-technology and English individually. Candidates those appear/qualify the three years of B.Sc Degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-Technology including practical subjects are also eligible to apply. Minimum Marks: A candidate must obtain minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology taken together. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the marks in qualifying exam should be 40%. Appearing Candidates: Candidates who are in final year of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for AIMPT (NEET). |
