AIPGDET or All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Test is conducted by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (Deemed University), Pune (DPU) for admission to Post-Graduate Dental Programmes at Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pimpri, Pune.

The Exam is usually conducted at Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pimpri and Pune. The AIPGDET Exam is conducted usually in the month of January.

AIPGDET Eligibility Criteria

One should possess B.D.S. degree from a recognized dental college included in the schedule of the Indian Dental Council Act, 1948.

One who has obtained registration from the Dental Council of India or from any State Dental Council, after completing one year compulsory rotator internship is also eligible for it.

One, who is yet to complete internship, can also attend the exam under the condition that one has to produce certificate from Principal/ Dean regarding the date of completion of the internship.

One who will be completing the internship before 31st March of the year of the conduction of exam can also apply for provisional admission but should submit a certificate by the head of the institution declaring the date of completion of internship.
