The Army Institute of Management is a graduate business school located in Kolkata, India. It was established in 1997 by the Indian Army.

Educational programs

The institute offers a two-year full-time MBA program leading to a postgraduate degree in MBA

Each year is split into two terms.

The batch strength of the course is 120.

Industrial internship is mandatory as a part of the MBA Curriculum.

Every student undergoes eight weeks industrial internship at the end of the first year program.

Eligibility

The minimum qualification for admission to MBA programme is 3 years Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any university recognized by India

Final year candidates can also apply.

Admission

The admission to AIMK through the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management

Based on the performance in CAT,candidates will be called for Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD/PI) to be conducted by AIMK at Kolkata.

Final merit list is drawn up based on the candidate's performance in CAT & GD/PI.

Campus information

There is a gymnasium for boys and girls, a football/cricket ground, badminton court, volleyball court, a basketball court, and an indoor table tennis block.

Also a swimming pool and other sports facilities are provided at the nearby Army Campus.
