Can you please provide here detail about the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) PG Entrance examination ?

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts PG Entrance examination twice a year for providing admission to MD/MS and MDS courses.

Eligibility:

Candidate must have MBBS degree for admission to MD/MS course. Or

Candidate must have BDS degree for admission to MDS course .

Candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in MBBS or BDS.
(aggregate of 50% marks if they belongs to SC/ST category candidates)

Exam Pattern

For MD/MS:
Duration:
3 Hours

Number of Questions:
200 Objective Type Questions

Negative Marking:
1/3rd of the marks to be deducted for the incorrect response


For MDS:
Duration:
90 Minutes

No. of questions:
90 Objective type questions

Negative Marking:
1/3rd of the marks to be deducted if the response is incorrect
