I have heard that researchers at AIIMS - All India Institute Of Medical Science have collaborated with US-based Ohio University for medicine and nanotechnology for cancer treatment, is it true? If yes, then I want to be a part of this collaborated?

The AIIMS has a Nanotechnology department. AIIMS is pleased to constitute a Committee on Nanotechnology Facility at AIIMS.

The Nanotechnology Department/Centre was established in 1971. The Nanotechnology department is established as a Joint venture of Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi.

The Centre has applied engineering principles to address medical and biological problems.

It has faculty drawn from IIT Delhi as well as AIIMS New Delhi.

The growth rate of CBME IITD is comparable to the global R&D. Centre has provided interdisciplinary base to develop health care technologies
