Can you tell me the exam date of the vacancy open by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur for the post of Professor last month as I want to start my preparation for that?

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur has issued notification for the recruitment of 221 Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor vacancies.

As per my knowledge there is no written exam for the purpose. It is just on the basis of interview that one will be selected.

Name of the Posts: Faculty (Group-A)
1. Professor: 37 Posts
2. Additional Professor: 36 Posts
3. Associate Professor: 61 Posts
4. Assistant Professor: 87 Posts

Important Dates:
Date of Advertisement: 14-08-2015.
Last Date to Apply Online: Within one month from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News/ Rojgar Samachar.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s upper age limit is 50 years as on closing date of submission of application.

Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates need to possess a medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act, Post Graduation Medical Degree viz. MD/ MS/ MDS in the respective discipline only, D.M & M.Ch in the respective discipline/ subject for medical & surgical super-specialties with relevant experiences.

Selection Process:

Only short listed candidates are called for interview.
