Re: AIIMS Exam After 12th

AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam is conducted by All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) New Delhi for admission to the MBBS Course of AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur).

The AIIMS MBBS 2016 Exam will conduct on 29th May, 2016 (Sunday).

AIIMS MBBS 2016 Eligibility:

12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.

Age:-

Should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission (2016).

Application & Registration Fees:-

General - Rs 1000.00 + Transaction Fees (as applicable)
Other Backward Classes [OBC : Both Creamy and Non-creamy Layers] - Rs 1000.00 + Transaction Fees (as applicable)
Scheduled Caste [SC] - Rs 800.00 + Transaction Fees (as applicable)
Scheduled Tribe [ST] - Rs 800.00 + Transaction Fees (as applicable)
OPH – Exempted

AIIMS 2016 Exam Pattern:

The Exam will be of 3½ hours duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason- assertion type) questions from subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.

Subject - Number of Questions

•Physics - 60 questions
•Chemistry - 60 questions
•Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 60 questions
•General Knowledge - 20 questions

Marking Scheme:-

•Each incorrect response will get a score of- 1/3 (minus-one-third).
•Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.
•No credit will be given for the questions not answered.
•More than one response will be treated as a wrong answer and negatively marked.
