AIIMS DNB Exam

Hello sir I am here as I want to know is DNB CET is conducted by AIIMS so will you please tell me about this exam?? Also provide me information related to this exam

Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test (DNB CET) is a national level entrance exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) ,not by AIIMS, for all purposes including appointment to teaching posts as lecture/Assistant Professor by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.


Eligibility Criteria

-Candidate should posses MBBS degree/Provisional Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India

-For January Session:
Candidate must have completed their 12 Months rotating internship or practical training on or before January 31, 2016 (application for January session)

-For July Session:
Candidate must have completed the required 12 Months rotating internship/practical training on or before July 31, 2016 (application for July session)



Exam Pattern:

The DNB CET 2016 entrance exam was a computer based test.

The questions will be from subjects taught during the MBBS course including subjects like pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical. DNB CET 2016 will consist of 300 Multiple Choice Questions.

The weightage of MCQ’s in each specialty will vary and examination authority, NBE has right to alter/vary/amend the marks of the question
