AIIMS Dental Exam

I want to apply for AIIMS PG Dental Exam so can you tell me the eligibility criteria to apply for exam?

AIIMS PG Dental entrance exam is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi for admissions to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes each in its January and July session.

AIIMS PG Eligibility Criteria

For MDS –

Candidates must have BDS degree for MDS from a recognized institution recognized by Dental Council of India

Candidates must have completed the 12 months of rotating internship on or before January 30, 2017

Online application form to begin in September 6, 2016
Last date for filling online application September 26, 2016
Date for checking status of application through the registered status tab of their My Page after login October 6, 2016
Last date for submitting documents October 15, 2016
Uploading of admit cards October 24, 2016
AIIMS PG 2017 January session
online exam date November 13, 2016
AIIMS PG 2017 January session result November 19, 2016
First counselling December 14, 2016
Second counselling December 22 , 2016
Open counselling January 24, 2017

Exam pattern-

For MDS:

Duration: 1 hours 30 minutes (90 minutes)

No. of questions: 90 Objective based multiple choice questions

Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response

Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus taught during BDS
