I want to appear in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences PG Entrance exam . Will you please provide the information regarding the AIIMS Delhi PG Entrance exam eligibility and pattern .

All India Institute of Medical Sciences directs PG Entrance exam twice a year for admission to 160 MD/MS and MDS seats

Eligibility:

Applicants must have obtained a MBBS degree for admission to MD/MS or Applicants must have obtained BDS degree for admission to MDS from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India

Applicants must have completed the required 12 Months rotating internship/practical training

Applicants must have obtained 55% aggregate marks in MBBS or BDS in case of general/OBC category or an aggregate of 50% marks in case of SC/ST category

Exam Pattern:

AIIMS PG exam is a computer based test

The questions from subjects taught during the MBBS course .

Duration: 3 Hours

Number of Questions: 200 Objective Type Questions

1/3rd of the marks to be deducted for the incorrect response

For MDS:

Duration: 90 Minutes

No. of questions: 90 Objective type questions

1/3rd of the marks to be deducted if the response is incorrect

Exam will be based on the syllabus for BDS course
