AIIMS Bhopal MBBS

I have completed my BDS and want to take admission in the MBBS from the AIIMS Bhopal and want to know in details about this course. Can you please tell me the eligibility criteria for doing MBBS and also provide me the admission form of AIIMS Bhopal?

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Bhopal has been established as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Ordinance 2012.

MBBS Course

The Course of studies leading to the award of degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal shall last for a minimum of 5 academic years including one year's compulsory internship.

Intake: 100 students per year.

Eligibility Criteria-

Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.

Students must have obtained a minimum aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects which is 60% for general/OBC and 50% for SC/ST/OPH candidates.

Age:

The minimum age limit is 17 years as on the 31st December of the year of admission.

Indian Citizen, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) and Foreign Nationals.

Admission:

The admissions to MBBS course will be made through common entrance test conducted for seven AIIMS.

AIIMS Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted through CBT (Computer Based Test).

The exam duration will be 3 hours.

Type of Question: Questions will be Objective Type (Multiple Choice and Reason-Assertion type).

No. of Question: Total 200 questions will be asked in the examination.

Language: Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi language.

Marking Scheme: One mark will be given for each correct answer.

Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer.
