AIEEE Quota in MP PET

I have Scored good Rank in AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) and now want to take admission in MP PET (Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test) college so please tell me about quota of AIEEE in MP PET? Also give me list of best colleges in Madhya Pradesh under MP PET?

Hello dear for your kind info both AIEEE quota and MP PET are replaced by JEE main for engineering courses. For Quota you have to attend JEE main exam.

In 2014 the MP PET and AIEEE are replaced by JEE.

JEE Main eligibility constitutes reservation criteria for candidates belonging to- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), OBC-NCL, Women Candidates and Person with Disability category.

The reservation criteria of JEE Main also include parameters related to home state and other state quota in terms of admissions offered by the state universities.

The reservation of seats through JEE Main is based upon State of Eligibility (from where the candidate has appeared for the qualifying exam).

This follows the parameters related to Home State and Other State Quota in terms of admissions offered by the universities.

The reservation percentage of categories for admission under JEE Main reservations are:

27% for OBC,
15% for SC
7.5% for SC
3% for PwD candidates

The state Telangana holds 3 state quotas viz Home State Quota, Other State Quota and Andhra Pradesh State Quota.

5% of total seats reserved for women candidates in all participating institutes. Also, there is concession in application fees while filling up JEE Main Application

In NITs, 50% seats are reserved under Home State Quota and rest 50% under Other State Quota.
