Here I am providing the AICTE rules for new engineering college library:

AICTE rules for new engineering college library

N.Suresh M.Com, M.L.I.Sc , M.Phil , UGC-NET ,

Asst.Librarian and information officer,

Anna centenary library, Chennai-85

If 250 students Minimum Space required for Library 450 Sqft.

Initial Stack of Books 4500 Volumes

Each Branch 250 titles and 4 Multiple copies.

Total 12 Journals should subscribe: 6 National, 6 International.

Every Year should add:

Engineering Subjects: 1 Book for Each students
