Can you tell me about the National Vocational Education Qualification Framework (NVEQF) for the polytechnics and Engineering Colleges by All India Council for Technical Education, (AICTE) 2012-13?

All India Council for Technical Education, (AICTE), the apex body for making and maintaining the norms of Technical Education in India has framed a National Vocational Education Qualification Framework (NVEQF) for the polytechnics and Engineering Colleges.

NVEQF is initiated by Government in order to officially incorporate vocational education with its current conventional educational streams across school and higher education space and provide an opportunity and incentive to students to discover a large universe of opportunity.
