AICTE Eligibility for Engineering Admission

Can you tell me in detail about the AICTE Eligibility for Admission in Engineering Colleges in India?

Eligibility qualification for admission to various technical courses which are prescribed by AICTE/ PCI/ Council of Architecture/ Affiliating University/ State Board of Technical Education as the case may be, is adopted by SCBH. However, the institutions which demands higher percentage in terms of marks only will be permitted to do so.

Minimum Academic Qualification for B.E. / B.Tech./ B.Arch

B.E./ B.Tech:
One should be pass in 10+2 examination from recognized Board / University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects:
(a) Chemistry
(b) Bio Technology
(c) Computer Science
(d) Biology

OR

One should have passed Diploma Course in Engineering / Technology of three years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent Diploma Examination.

B.Arch.:
No student with less than 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to Architecture course unless he has passed an exam at the end of new 10+2 Scheme of Senior School Certificate exam or equivalent with mathematics as subject of exam at the 10+2 level, subject to the aptitude test
