Tentative dates Online Registration started from 2nd week October 2016 Last date to fill and submit the online application form 2nd to last week December 2016 (Extended Date) Last Date to submit application fee in cash at SBI Bank 2nd week December 2016 Trial Test will be available on 2nd week December 2016 Admit Card to be released on 2nd week January 2017 CMAT 2017 to be held on Last week January 2017 Reserved Day for conduct of CMAT 2017 Last week January 2017 Date of Result declaration and release of Merit List To be announced (Expected to be announced in second week of February 2017) Application fee General/OBC: Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable SC/ST/PD: Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable In Foreign Countries: $125 + Bank charges as applicable Exam pattern The questions in CMAT 2017 are divided in 4 sections with multiple choice questions. The questionnaire is divided into the following questions and each section carries 25 questions having a maximum of 100 marks. Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation Logical reasoning Language comprehension General awareness You will score 4 marks for each right answer and lose 1 mark for each wrong answer. You can also swap to any section at any point in time during the exam as per your convenience. The Quantitative techniques section covers subjects such as Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry, Number Systems, Set Theory, Permutations & Combinations and other miscellaneous topics. In Data Interpretation, the subjects covered are tables calculation, Line & Bar Graphs, Pie Charts, Case lets based DI, Combination Tables/Graphs, Reasoning – Tables, Graphs and miscellaneous or Non classifiable concepts & Unusual Graphs In Logical Reasoning, the topics covered are Circular, Linear, , Blood Relations & Family Trees, Groupings Tabular Arrangements, Visual Reasoning, Coding-Decoding, Mathematical Reasoning Series, Truth / Lies and multiple other concepts and miscellaneous or Non Classifiable concepts. Reading Comprehension covers topics based on: Passage Structure, Inference Fact, Tone, Main Idea or Title or Author, Attitude, or miscellaneous type passages. General Knowledge (GK) covers informational topics from news, sports, history, etc |
