This department works from TDO (Madhyasth Kacheri), BPSP(Building plan scrutiny pool) & Zonal offices and is entrusted with the following responsibilities:

Various Zones

CentralZone:

SouthZone: 2nd Floor, Shyama prasad Mukharji Bhavan, Opp.Rambaug Fire Station Kankaria,4 Maninagar,Ahmedabad.

East Zone: 4th Floor, Harubhai Maheta Bhavan, Viratnagar Cross Road, N.H.No.8, Viratnagar,Ahmedabad.

Building permission for new construction,Addition alteration of existing building.
Granting permission for amalgamation & subdivision of land.
Granting building use permission.
Registration of professionals like Architects,Engineers,Clerkofworks,Structural designer,Developer.
Providing reference plans showing distance of plotfrom protected monument.Providing reference plan to obtain Airport Authority N.O.C.
Issuance of zoning certificates,work related to development plan of city.
To provide reduced level of the plot to obtain Airport N.O.C.
To take actions against unauthorized construction like Issuance of notice under provisions of Act and removal of the same. To attend courts(High Court, CityCivilCourt & Others) in various matters related to department.
