Age Limit for WBJEE

Hey , I having confusion regarding age criteria for WBJEE exam . Will you please give detail here about the age limit criteria for West Bengal joint entrance exam ?

As you want I am here telling you about the age limit criteria for West Bengal joint entrance exam.

Age Restriction :

For Engineering / Technology ( other than Marine Engineering ), Pharmacy & Architecture Courses :
At least 17 ( seventeen ) year

No upper age limit

For Marine Engineering Course :

at least 17 (seventeen) years of age
not be above 25 ( twenty five ) years

For Medical / Dental Courses :
at least 17 ( seventeen ) years
No upper age limit.

Citizenship :
Applicant must be a citizen of India.


Academic Requirements:

For Engineering / Technology courses other than Marine Engineering :

Candidates must pass Higher Secondary ( 10+2 ) Examination n or equivalent examination .

Individual pass marks in Physics chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects :

Minimum of 60% marks.

Aggregate marks : 55% in Physics chemistry and Mathematics.


For Marine Engineering Course :

Candidates must pass Higher Secondary ( 10+2 ) or equivalent examination .


Candidate should secure 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together .

Minimum of 50% marks in English as subject in either in ‘10’ or in ‘10+2’ standard.

For Medical / Dental Courses :

Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or equivalent examination.

Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English :
Minimum of 50% marks.
