One of the important criteria for the Indian railway jobs is age limit criteria.

For apply railway sector jobs applicants should done 10th or 12th or any degree or engineering or post graduation courses with minimum 55% aggregate in academics.

Age limit for the Indian Railways:

1. For HANDICAPPED persons: 18 - 40 years.

2. For SC/ST persons: 18 - 35 years.

3. For OBC persons : 18 - 33 years.

4. For GENERAL persons : 18 - 30 years.

This age limit is separated according to the caste wise & reservation provided to each caste.

Reservation criteria for all caste are:

1. For GENERAL persons : NO reservation.

2. For OBC persons : 3% reservation.

3. For SC/ST persons : 5% reservation.

4. For Ex-servicemen : 5% reservation.

5. For HANDICAPPED persons : 10% reservation.
