Probationary Officer (PO) is the entry level position in the officer cadre in banking industry. Eligibility Criteria Age limit Age requirement in most Bank PO exam is 21 to 30 years. This may be relaxed upto 5 years for reserved categories. Qualification: The applicants Minimum qualification is Graduation with at least 55 to 60% marks in graduation as eligibility criteria. The minimum required marks can also be different for science, commerce and arts stream. Selection procedure: Recruitment of probationary officers in Banks is done through a written competitive exam (Bank PO exam) followed by interview for successful candidates.
