The Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Boards Himachal Pradesh conducts Himachal Pradesh (HP) Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Junior Basic Training (JBT) Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/ University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the Central State Government or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for the HP-TET. Selection Process: Selection will be based on Examination & Interview. Examination Pattern: Structure of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for JBT: Number of questions and weightage 150 questions carrying one mark each Duration 2 hour 30 minutes Type of questions Multiple choice with four alternatives out of which only one is correct Negative marking No Sections of the question papers for Language Teacher 30 questions of Child Development and Pedagogy, teaching learning processes. 30 questions of English literature & grammar 30 questions of Hindi literature & grammar 30 questions of Mathematics 30 questions of Social Sciences, Environmental Studies and General awareness & current affairs including Himachal Pradesh |
