Age limit for appearing for GPSC exam

I want to apply for the GPSC exam? Please tell me what is the Age limit for appearing for GPSC exam? Also tell me about its selection process?

The Gujarat Public Service Commission has invited applications for Gujarat Administrative Service Class I and Gujarat Civil Service Class I and Class II examinations.

Eligibility:

Age of the candidate should be between 20 years and 30 years.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream (or equivalent) by a recognized university/institute. Candidates appearing for their final examination may apply provisionally, provided they meet the age requirement.


Salary:

Pay scale Rs 15,600 - Rs 39,100 + 5,400 Grade pay and other allowances

Selection process:

Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts based on their performance in the preliminary exam, mains exam and interview.

Only candidates clearing the preliminary exam will be eligible for the mains exam.

The preliminary examination was held on October 12, 2014,

This will consist of 3 Papers for a total of 500 marks:

Verbal Skill Gujarati and Verbal Skill English (150 marks),
Quantitative Skill and Test of Reasoning (150 marks) and General Studies (200 marks).
