Eligibility:
You should be Citizen of India.

The applicant should have a graduation in any discipline from any recognized University.

Your age should be between 19-23 Years

And Than you have To Appear the Entrance Exam of CDS.
CDS Means Combined Defence Service.
This Examination is conducting by The Union Public Service commission two times in a Every year.

And You can Also Eligible to Join in Indian Air force Through The AFCAT Exam.
AFCAT Means Air force Common Admission Test.
This exam is specially conducted to join in Indian Air force.
This Exam Includes Three Branches.

1) Technical Branch:
18-28 Years.
2) Ground Duty Branch:

Through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) you can apply in Indian Air Force. Indian Air Force conducts the exam for candidates to recruit them to Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Officer Branches.

Graduates in all streams including B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Com, CA, ICWA are eligible to apply for AFCAT. You can apply for:

NCC Special Entry (For Men Only) (Through NCC Air Squadrons / DG NCC)
As an Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ Certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, one can apply to the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force.

Men can join the Air Force through this mode of entry and is given a Permanent Commission.

Eligibility criteria:-
•Age –19 to 23 years (at the time of commencement of course)
•Nationality - Indian
•Marital Status - Single
•Gender - Men only.

•Educational Qualifications:-
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level

OR

BE / B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

Final Year/semester students are eligible to apply, provided they do not have any present backlogs at the time of SSB Testing and produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.

SSC (Short Service Commission ) Entry( For Men and Women)

Short Service Commission in Flying branch is for 14 years with no further extension.

Eligibility criteria:

•Age - 19 to 23 years (at the time of commencement of course).Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 25 years(at the time of commencement of course).

•Nationality - Indian
•Marital Status – Single
•Gender - Men and Women.

•Educational Qualifications:-
Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
