Don’t worry, non medical in 12th are also eligible to get admission in BSc Honors Maths in Punjab University, but you need to pass 12th with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Here are B.Sc Maths Honors Admission details:

Eligibility
The applicant Should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/ BC) with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Selection procedure
Admission is based on CET entrance test conducted by PU.

Tentative dates
Date of Test:
May 2015

Last date for the submission of Online Application Form:
April 2015

CET FEE:
General Category Rs. 1600/-
SC/ST Category Rs. 800/-

Exam pattern

The test will be conducted in the subjects of, (i) Physics, (ii) Chemistry (iii) Biology (iv) Mathematics (v) Biotechnology and (vi) Computer Science as per date sheet.

Yes you are eligible for doing B. Sc Math’s Honors from Punjab University after completing Non Medical in 12th.

You have to face Punjab University CET exam for getting admission in B. Sc Math’s Honors.

Here I am giving you details of Punjab University CET Exam:

Eligibility:

Qualification:
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Minimum 45% marks in case of SC/ST/BC

Required Document at the time of applying:

Matriculation certificate showing date of birth
Class 10 detailed mark sheet
Class 12 detailed mark sheet
Character certificate from institution last attended (Class 12).
Certificates in proof of reserved category
Affidavit attested by the Magistrate 1st Class/ Notary, explaining the gap in studies, if any.
Affidavit attested by the Magistrate 1st Class/ Notary, for single girl child if claim is made.
