After MSc Physics Eligible For NET Exam

I have completed MSc Physics . Am i eligible for the NET Exam or not ?

Yes definitely after completion of MSc Physics , you are eligible for the NET Exam.

NET Exam Eligibility Criteria
Applicants those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects can appear for the exam.


Applicants who have acquired post graduation from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam.

Age Qualification for UGC-NET

Applicants appearing for JRF should not be above 28 years of age.


Applicants appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit. Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/OBC or physically disabled or women or visually handicapped.


Exemption and Eligibility for Lectureship

The NET will be compulsory even for the Applicants with Ph.D.

The NET is must for the post of lecturer. There will be some exemptions for the M.Phil Applicants
