Yes you can apply for UPSC Central Armed Police Forces examination organized by union public service commission after passing graduation in IT field.

Educational Qualification
You have to passed a undergraduate Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Both Males and Females are eligible for CISF and CRPF. For SSB, BSF and ITBP only Male candidates are eligible.

Age limit :
20-25 years as on 1st August of the year of examination.

Exam pattern :
Written Examination
PAPER-I General Ability and Intelligence (Objective Type)
250 Marks
PAPER-II Essay, Precis writing and comprehension (Conventional Type)
150 Marks
PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL STANDARDS TEST To be conducted only of candidates who qualify the written examination.
Interview for Personality Test 200 Mark


Syllabus :
Syllabi of the Written Papers:
Paper I : General Ability and Intelligence
The objective type questions with multiple choices in this paper will broadly cover the
following areas:
1. General Mental Ability: The questions will be designed to test the logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude including numerical ability, and data interpretation.
2. General Science: The questions will be set to test general awareness, scientific temper, comprehension and appreciation of scientific phenomena of everyday observation
including new areas of importance like Information Technology, Biotechnology,
Environmental Science.
3. Current Events of National and International Importance: The questions will test the candidates’ awareness of current events of national and international importance in the broad areas of culture, music, arts, literature, sports, governance, societal and developmental issues, industry, business, globalization, and interplay among nations.
4. Indian Polity and Economy:The questions shall aim to test candidates’ knowledge of the Country’s political system and the Constitution of India, social systems and public administration, economic development in India, regional and international security issues and human rights including its indicators.
5. History of India :The questions will broadly cover the subject in its social, economic and political aspects. This shall also include the areas of growth of nationalism and freedom movement.
6. Indian and World Geography: The questions shall cover the physical, social and economic aspects of geography pertaining to India and the World.

Paper II : General Studies, Essay and Comprehension
Part-A – Essay questions which are to be answered in long narrative form either in
Hindi or English totaling 80 Marks. The indicative topics are modern Indian history
especially of the freedom struggle, geography, polity and economy, knowledge of security
and human rights issues, and analytical ability.
Part-B – Comprehension, precis writing, other communications/language skills – to be
attempted in English only (Marks 120) – The topics are Comprehension passages,
precis writing, developing counter arguments, simple grammar and other aspects of
language testing.

As you want to known about the job in armed forces after IT field here is the etail of the same

Indian Army

Post :- Technical Entry Scheme ( TES )
Eligiility :- for male 10+2 ( PCM ) candidates. dailies.
eye site 6/6 eyesight in each eye with or without glasses and a
height Minimum of 157.5 cm
chest expansion of 5 cm.

Junior Commissioned Officers ( JCOs )
:

JCOs in catering should be between 21 – 27 Years
ELIGIBILITY 10+2 with Science and a 1 Year cookery diploma
Age males between 27 Years and 34 Years who are graduates in any discipline

Soldiers ( General Duty ) :

High School within Age – Limit or 16 – 32.
Technical : High School within Age – Limit of 16 – 32 Years.
Nursing Assistant : High School with Biology within Age limit of 16 – 25.
Mahila Constable : Matriculation ( 18 – 23 Years of age ).
Soldiers Tradesman : Non – Matric 16 – 20 Years.


Indian Navy

Soldiers: Unmarried Male Indian citizens with 55% aggregate marks in Maths & Science at Matriculation
age limit of 16 – 19 Years.

Indian Air Force

Post name :- Airmen in Group ‘Y’ Trades
Q ualifications : - Matriculation / Intermediate or equivalent examination ( including 10+2 ) with a minimum 50% marks and pass marks in English.
Eligibility : Only unmarried male Indian citizens as also citizens of Nepal are eligible for recruitment.
Height : Minimum 152.5 cm.

Mechanical Driver : 165 cm ( 162.5 cm for candidates belonging to Uttaranchal and North Eastern States ) with minimum leg length of 99 cm.
Ground Training Instructor : 167 cm ( 162.5 cm for candidates belonging to Uttaranchal and North East.

IAF ( Police ) : 175 cm.
Chest : Minimum expansion of 5 cm. Weight Corresponding to height and age.
Vision : Unaided 6/36, corrected with glasses 6/36, corrected with glasses 6/9 for each eye [For IAF ( Security & Police ) unaided vision is 6/6].
Hearing : Able to hear forced whisper at 6 minutes with each ear separately.
Written Test : Candidates have to qualify both in English & Mathematical Reasoning papers.
