After completing diploma in IETE can I get lateral entry in B.tech

I have completed my diploma in IETE and I want to join the B.tech course. Please tell me can I get the lateral entry exam after completing diploma in IETE? Also provide me name of some best B.tech lateral entry colleges?

As you say that you have completed your diploma in IETE and want to take the lateral entry in the B.Tech. It depends in which college you want to get admission. Generally after completing the diploma you get the direct admission in B.Tech 2nd year in particular college.

Eligibility for the lateral entry:

The applicant must need to have minimum 60% but for SC ST the quota is 50-55%.
For getting entry through lateral entry scheme you have to appear in the entrance exam.
After successfully clearing the entrance exam you can take admission in B.Tech 2nd year in particular college.
