Government of UP has regulated a fresh and new notification on for UPTET.

This exam is circulated for the recruitment of Teacher in Classes I-V and Classes VI- VIII.

Graduate or Master degree with BTC, B.Ed. are eligible .

Eligibility Criteria:

For Primary Level teacher:

Candidates should have Graduation degree with 50% marks with 2 years diploma in special education (D.Ed) OR BTC training from UP OR 4 year diploma in elementary education.

For Upper Primary Level teacher:
Candidates should possess Graduation degree with % marks with one year degree in elementary education OR BTC training from UP OR 2 years programme in BTC/CT (Nursery)/ NTT.

Exam Pattern:

UPTET exam comprises of multiple choice type of questions

There will be two papers that will be held in two shifts:
