U.V.Patel College of Engineering (UVPCE) is an Institute of Technology situated inside Ganpat Vidyanagar, Mehsana, Gujarat campus. It was established in September 1997. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.

Lateral Entry Eligibility:

2nd year of 4-year B. Tech (Marine Engineering)-

Candidates who have passed 1st year from the engineering college in other streams like Mechanical or Electrical approved by AICTE with minimum 60% average marks.

OR

3years Diploma Course in Mechanical/Marine/Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics from the colleges approved by AICTE or State Board Of Technical Education with minimum 55% of aggregate marks in the last year of Diploma Course.

The candidates should have obtained with minimum of 50% marks in English language at 10th or 12th Std or in the Degree/Diploma conducted by recognized Board or any University.

Age Limit: 22 Years.

Medical Requirement:

Candidates must meet the minimum physical fitness and medical standards

Use of corrective lenses for eyesight is permitted but the maximum permissible limits, at entry, are 6/12 in each eye or 6/9 in better eye and 6/18 in other eye for distant unaided vision.

Color blindness is not permitted.
