Tell me can I apply for Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) entrance exam after 2nd Year B.E(Aeronautical)???

Sorry to say, but after 2nd Year B.E(Aeronautical) you are not eligible for Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) entrance exam, here are ISRO entrance exam details;

Eligibility:
The candidates should have pass Intermediate/ Class 12th passed from the PCM Group along with a minimum percentage as stated.

The candidates should have also pass Bachelor of Technology with at least 65% marks in aggregate.

Candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying degree can also apply provided they can produce the same by the time final selections are made.

Exam pattern
There will be an objective type paper divided into two parts for each subject as given below:

Physics
Chemistry and
Mathematics

The candidates should score at least 60% marks in the written as well as interview which will be held next after the written exam for all the qualifying candidates only for final selections.

For Refrigeration and Air Conditioning:
Advanced Thermodynamics
Advanced Heat Transfer
Instrumentation of Thermal Systems
Applied Mathematics for Thermal Engineers
For Civil Engineering:
Surveying
Structural Engineering
Transportation Engineering
Geotechnical Engineering
Engineering Mathematics
Environmental Engineering etc.

The Indian Space Research Organisation, is the space agency of the Indian government headquartered in the city of Bengaluru

Hey in second year you will not be eligible for ISRO examination.

Only those applicants can apply who have already passed out or last year student of B.E/B.Tech are eligible for ISRO examination.

It recruits only student Graduate with Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical Branch.

So there is no vacancy for those who have Aeronautical Engineering but you can visit the official site of the ISRO for any changes


ISRO Eligibility :-

BE or B.Tech in First Class with minimum of 65% aggregate (average of all semesters for which results are available).

Or

A person pursuing B.Tech in the final year

Age Limit

35 years For General

40 years for SC/ST candidates &

38 years for OBC candidates

Selection Process

Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted to short-list candidates for taking-up written test
