To become IAS officer you have to passed graduation level degree course in any discipline After passing 12th grade.. Here I am giving you information about required eligibility to apply for Indian administrative service examination organized by union public service commission Civil service exam details : Required eligibility : You can apply for IAS examination after passing graduation level degree in any discipline from a well recognized university Age - limits: 21-30 years as on 1st August of the year of Examination. Important dates : IAS 2015 exam dates : CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM 2015:- Date of Notification:- 16.05.2015 Last date for receipt of applications:- 12.06.2015 (FRIDAY) Date of commencement of Examination:- 23.08.2015 (SUNDAY) Duration of the Exam:- 1 DAY CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAM 2015:- Date of commencement of Examination:- 18.12.2015 (FRIDAY) Duration of the Exam:- 5 DAYS Scheme of CS (Preliminary) Examination The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of objective type maximum of 400 marks.
