After 12th For NATA, do we need 50% in all subjects or not
Tell me do I need 50% in all subjects of 12th or just in PCM for NATA, please provide details???

Yes, of course you need 50% in all subjects of 12th or just in PCM for NATA. NATA 2015 is commonly known as National Aptitude Test in Architecture. The NATA exam is conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA). NATA is a national level examination conducted for the students seeking admission into under-graduate courses in architecture. Eligibility Criteria The Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for NATA. They must have studied Mathematics as a main subject in 10+2. Paper Pattern NATA 2015 exam consists of two papers: Paper-I: Drawing Test Paper-II: Aesthetic Sensitivity Test The test is in 2 parts: A paper based drawing test Computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test. Drawing Test This is a two hour paper where candidate has to attempt three questions Aesthetic Sensitivity Test This is computer based test where candidate has to answer 40 multiple choice Questions Time allotted to answer the question is between 60 and 90 seconds depending upon the question There is no Negative marking in this test. Will you tell me that is it necessary to score need 50% in all subjects or not in 12th class to appear in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)?

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for study of Architecture field. Eligibility for NATA: Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) or its equivalent examination from a recognized University or Board or Institute to apply for this exam. Candidate should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination. Candidate must have at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination and also in Mathematics separately. Candidate should be physically and mentally fit at the time of exam. Age: 17 years NATA Paper Pattern:- The test is in two parts. • PART 01: Paper based drawing test and computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test. • PART 02: Drawing Test This is a two hour paper where candidate has to attempt three questions. Drawing aptitude is judged on the following aspects- • Ability to sketch a given object proportionately and rendering the same in visually appealing manner. • Visualising and drawing the effects of light on the object and shadows cast on surroundings. • Sense of perspective drawing. • Combining and composing given three dimensional elements to form a building or structural form. • Creating interesting two dimensional composition using given shapes and forms. • Creating visual harmony using colours in given composition. • Understanding of scale and proportions. • Drawing from memory through pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences. Aesthetic Sensitivity Test This is computer based test where candidates have to answer multiple choice questions. The aesthetic sensitivity test measures perception, imagination, observation, creativity and communication along with architectural awareness and comprises of- • Visualising three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings. • Visualising different sides of three dimensional objects. • Identifying commonly used materials and objects based on their textural qualities. • Analytical reasoning. • Mental Ability. • Imaginative comprehension and expression. • Architectural awareness. |
