Armed Forces Medical College is managed by the Indian Armed Forces.

Service liability and Bond money:

1. Students admitted to AFMC for MBBS course have required liability to serve as Commissioned officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services.

The offer of the type of commission will Depend upon the vacancies obtainable and shall be determined on merit - cum- option at the final MBBS examination.

The liability of SSC Officers passing out of AFMC to serve the Armed Forces Medical Services would be seven years.

2. Student withdrawing from the course will have to pay Bond Money of Rs. 15,00,000/- as per the conditions provide by Govt. of India, Min of Defence.

The parents/candidates/parents/guardians of the candidates are required to sign the bond agreement at the time of admission which is Rs.15, 00,000/- (rupees fifteen Lac).

This amount is subject to revision from time to time by the Govt. of India.
