AFCAT Exam Date
AFCAT 2 will be held on 18th and 19th August 2018.

AFCAT Application Form online submission was started from 16th June 2018.

AFCAT 2 Application Form submission is closed on 15th July 2018; candidates are advised to apply online on or before the last date.

AFCAT 2 examination is expected to be held in August by the Indian Air Force examination department.

The AFCAT or Air Force Common Admission Test is a recruitment examination organized by the Indian Air Force (IAF).

The examination is held twice a year in the months of February and August applications are made available in December and June respectively.

AFCAT Examination can be taken by both Male and Female Candidates who have completed their Graduation.

AFCAT is officer recruitment gateway in 3 branches of Air Force:
Flying Branch (Short Service Commission only),
Technical branch (Permanent & Short Service Commission)
Ground Duty Branch

Important dates:

Release of official Notification for AFCAT 02 2018 30th May 2018
Submission of AFCAT 02 2018 Online Application 16th June 15th July 2018
Publication of Admit Cards Last week of July 2018
Exam Date of AFCAT 02 2018 18th August 2018 19th August 2018.
AFCAT 02 2018 Result Declaration 1st week of October 2018


Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
For Flying Branch- Candidate must have a graduate in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or B.E/B. Tech with minimum 60% marks.

For Ground Duty (Technical)- Candidates must have a graduation level degree in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level with minimum 60% marks.

For Ground Duty (Non-Technical)- Candidates must have graduation level degree any discipline with minimum 60% marks and obtain 60% marks in Section A & B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).

Age Limit:
For Flying Branch- 20 to 24 Years
For Ground Duty- 20 to 26 Years

Meteorology and NCC Special Entry Candidates Nill

Selection Process
Stage 1 Officer Intelligence Rating Test, Picture Perception & Discussion Test
Stage 2 Psychological Test, Group Test for Checking Interactive Ability & Personal Conversation with Interviewing Officer
Stage 3 Medical Test
