Re: AFCAT Technical Branch Salary

AFCAT known as Air Force Common Admission test. The exam is directed by the Indian Air Force for the selection of officers in three major branches which are as follows:

Technical branch

Flying branch

Ground duty branch

Post Name: AFCAT (Technical Branch)

Salary: 63400/-

Eligibility :

Age Limit: Applicants age must be between 18 to 28 Years.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics ) Minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized University or

Applicants must have cleared Section A and B exam of Associate Membership exam of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies.

Physical Standards

Height and Weight: Minimum height :- Men – 157.5 Cms with correlated weight

Selection Procedure :

Applicants who have cleared AFCAT exam have to undergo interview from the AFSB .

The AFSB centres are present at Mysore, Varanasi, Dehradun.

After AFSB interviews candidates can give further exams on their respective choice of branches.

Candidates opt for technical branch must clear the EKT, engineering knowledge test.

For technical branch training is about one and a half years

During the training, applicants are given the facility to travel by rail in AC three tire.
