AFCAT psychological test
Is psychological test is compulsory in selection for Indian Air Force , is it part of AFCAT , if so then would you plz tell me about AFCAT psychological test

AFCAT is conducted by Indian Air Force for the selection of officers in the three major branches such as. i. Flying branch ii. Technical branch and iii. Ground Duty branch. AFCAT psychological test is 2nd stage of AFCAT exam and after clearing the written examination, the candidate has to appear in the next phase Screening test: There are two tests in this group - Rating test, which includes Picture Perception and Description Test (PPDT), and Officer's Intelligence Test. Psychological tests: Various kinds of tests are carried out to check the amount of pressure a candidate can take successfully. For preparation psychological tests you need to Be strong mentally. If you don't lose your confidence throughout the process, you're halfway there. Practice writing on anything that you see. This will help you in the screening and psychological test where you will need to write on a picture shown for just 30 seconds. Pay great attention to your body language in story narration and group tasks. This will also be helpful in the interview and conference part. Concentrate on overall personality development as it is the main key to success in the AFCAT exam. Syllabus of AFCAT exam a)General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defense, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms (meanings of English words), Antonyms (opposite meanings of English words) and Vocabulary evaluation. c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude– Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.
