Hi I want to join the Indian Air Force as a Commissioned Officer through Air Force Common Admission Test ( AFCAT) . Provide the Air Force Common Admission Test exam pattern , application form dates and the exam dates .

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is an entrance exam conducted by Indian Air Force to select eligible candidates for multiple posts in Flying and Ground Duty [Technical and Non- Technical]. AFCAT is conducted twice every year to join reputable Air Force Academy and get commission as an Indian Air Force Officer. AFCAT 1 Dates 2020 Release of short notification 23-Nov-19 Release of detailed notification 01-Dec-19 AFCAT application form 2020 01-Dec-19 Last date to apply 30-Dec-19 AFCAT exam 22-Feb-2020 to 23-Feb-2020 Admit Card 04-Feb-20 Result 16-Mar-20 AFCAT 2 Dates 2020 Application form Jun-20 Last date to apply Jun-20 Exam date Aug-20 Admit Card July 2020 AFCAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria AFCAT 2020 eligibility criteria for Ground Duty and Flying Branch Age Criteria (i) Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years. Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26. (ii) Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years. Note: One below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of course. Widows/Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible. Educational Qualification Flying Branch: Minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a three-year degree in graduation OR a BE/B Tech degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognized university. Ground duty (Technical) Branch: (i) Aeronautical engineering (Electronics) (AE(L)): Minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a degree in graduation/post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university. AFCAT Selection Procedure Indian Air Force will conduct the AFCAT online exam across India at different test centres. IAF will publish the results of AFCAT and candidates will be able to check their marks, cut off marks etc on the official portal Selected candidates have to choose their AFSB interview venue and date on the same portal. The screening test is the first stage of the interview, which consists of verbal, nonverbal tests and a PPDT test. The selected candidates will stay at the centres for further selection tests and those who could not qualify it, would be set free on the same day. The next stage consists of a personal interview, Psychology and GTO tests, PABT (for flying only), on the last day conference will be conducted after which, the final result is announced. The selected candidates are sent for medical examination. |
