Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) Exam consisted of the AFCAT Online Exam and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) consisting of objective type questions. AFCAT Online Exam was conducted for Non-Technical Candidates. For Technical Candidates, both AFCAT Online Exam and EKT Exam were conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF). AFCAT Application Form 2020 AFCAT Events AFCAT 1 2020 AFCAT 2 2020 AFCAT Notification Date 1 December 2019 01-Jun-20 AFCAT Online Application Date 01-Dec-19 1 June 2020 AFCAT Application Last date 30-Dec-19 July 2020 AFCAT Admit Card date Jan-20 August 2020 AFCAT Exam date 22 Feb 20 and 23 Feb 20 September 2020 AFCAT Result date declaration Mar-20 20 October 2020 AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2020 Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India. Age Limit: It varies as per the branch viz. Flying Branch (AFCAT & NCC Entry): 20 – 24 years as on January 1, 2021. Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical): 20 – 26 years as on January 1, 2021. The DOB accepted by the IAF is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognized by an Indian University. Marital Status: Below 25 years must be unmarried at the time of commencement of course. Widows/ Widowers and divorcees below 25 years are not eligible. Education Qualification: Flying Branch: minimum of 60% marks each in Math and Physics at 10+2 level. Graduation with min. 3 years degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks AFCAT Selection Process Short listing of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks scored in the written examination. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written exam will have to face Screening Test i.e. Stage-I Testing. The screening test will include Officer Intelligence Rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test. Those who will qualify the Stage-I will be called for Stage-II Testing. Stage II will include Psychological Test, Group Test to check interactive ability, personal conversation with Interviewing Officer. The entire process will take at least 5-6 days. The candidates who will qualify the SSB/Interview will go through the medical examination. In the end, an all India merit list will be prepared on the basis of written test and interview. |
