Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission UPPSC will conduct a state level written examination for the recruitment of engineering service.

Selection of the eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant engineer AE will be done through the written examination and personal interview test.

Total no of vacancies are 953 for different departments of Uttar Pradesh.

The exam will conduct on 10 December 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:

Engineering Degree in Civil / mechanical or Agriculture / B.tech

Preference will be given to those candidates who has:

(i) served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or

(ii) obtained a "B" certificate of N.C.C

Age Limit:

Minimum 21 year and maximum 40 year for state engineering service Uttar Pradesh as on 1 July of the recruitment year.

Reserved category candidates will relaxation in maximum age limit.

Salary:

Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-Rs. 39,100/- (Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- Post- Class-II, Gazetted).

Selection procedure : Selection of the eligible candidates will be done through the personal interview test.

Written exam will be conducted by UPPSC on 10 December 2017 at various examination center.
