The detail about the Advanced Level Course in Computer Science (ALCCS) course offered by The Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (IETE) is as follows:

Advanced Level Course in Computer Science (ALCCS)

The ALCCS is a Three-Year (Six Semester) Part-time Course which is designed for working individuals to attain M.Tech level approved qualification in Computer Science.

The course is recognized by the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development,

In addition:-

The course has also been recognised by Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, (JNTU) Hyderabad, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Osmania University, Hyderabad.

Eligibility

B.E./B.Tech/AMIETE/AMIE or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Council of the IETE.

OR

MCA/MSc – Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operation Research.

Admission Procedure

Entrance Test
Applicants need to fill the Form for entrance test and attach the relevant documents/certificates before submission.

Applicants need to appear for written test and interview on the notified dates at New Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

Entrance Test cover syllabus of BE (Electrical & Electronics), BE (Computer Science).

The question paper consists of Questions - Electronics, Maths and Computers/IT (30). Thus, there will be 90 objective questions of one mark each.

Duration of the test will be 150 minutes.

There will be negative marking.

Merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks. Students obtaining marks above cut off will be called for the interview only.

Necessary consideration is given to SC/ST and physically handicapped students. They may also be considered at par if they get 10% less marks.

Entrance Test is usually conducted on 2nd or 3rd Sunday in July every year. The venue of test are under:-
