Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA CET) under the aegis of Karnataka University.

Admit card download Third week of April, 2017
Exam date (Biology & Mathematics) 2nd May 2017
Exam date (Physics & Chemistry) 3rd May 2017
Kannada Language Test (only in Bangalore) 4th May 2017
Result announcement Last week of May, 2017
Counselling begins Second week of June, 2017

Eligibility Criteria
For Engineering/Architecture Courses:
Pass in 2nd PUC/12th or equivalent exam with Physics & Mathematics as a compulsory subjects and English as a language subject.

For Pharmacy/Science Courses:
Students should have cleared 2nd PUC/12th or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, biology and English as a language subject.

Exam pattern

Exam Mode:
The exam will be conducted via offline method (pen and paper based mode).

Type of Questions:
Questions will be objective type questions.

No. of Questions:
Each section will contain total 60 questions.

Answer Mode:
Candidates will be required to use only blue or black ball point pen to mark their answers.

Marking Scheme:
For each correct response one mark will be awarded.

Negative Marking:
There will not any provision of negative marking for incorrect response.
