Admission in Maharashtra Engg Colleges without Domicile Certificate

I am from Maharashtra.
Can I get admission in engineering colleges of Maharashtra without having domile certificate but having 10th and 12th from Maharashtra state?

The Maharashtra state government has continued that Maharashtra candidates won't need domicile certificates.

Director of technical education (DTE) has stated that the birth certificate or the school leaving certificate which clearly mentions the place of birth as in Maharashtra, will be accepted as an alternative to the domicile certificate, to be submitted along with the admission form by the Maharashtra state candidates.
