Admission Criteria based on Sports Quota

I want to take admission in St. Stephen's College, Delhi on the basis of Sports Quota so please give all details?

St. Stephen’s College has a rich sports tradition and participation in outdoor activities. Sports persons who have played at the international, national or state level or have secured the first or second place in recent zonal school games are eligible to apply under the sports category. Admissions in this category are done by a Sports Admission Committee.

This college considers only the following games for admission of students on sports basis:

(i) Women and Men – Swimming, badminton, basketball, lawn tennis, shooting (10 meter Air Rifle and Air Pistol) and table tennis

(ii) Only Men – Cricket, Football and Squash Rackets.


Sports admissions will be based on followings:

Sports merit (certificates and field trials): 60%

BFS/PCM at Class XII: 25%

Interview: 15%
