B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is a bachelor level course.
The eligibility criteria for the students seeking admission in B.Tech Automobile engineering is that they should have passed their higher secondary exam with science (physics, chemistry, math) as their subject, securing a minimum of 50% in aggregate.

You have to pass an entrance exam for admitting in B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
In west Bengal the entrance exam named WBJEE.
