The Indian Navy is one of the largest navies in the world

As of 2016 possesses two aircraft carriers, one amphibious transport dock, 9 Landing ship tanks, 10 destroyers, 14 frigates, one nuclear-powered attack submarine, 14 conventionally-powered attack submarines, 24 corvettes, 7 mine countermeasure vessels, 10 large offshore patrol vessels, 4 fleet tankers and various auxiliary vessels and small patrol boats.

This is a list of submarines of the Indian Navy, grouped by class, and ordered by pennant numbers within the class.
