IITB PG Academic Council goes about as the extension between the Institute and the PG Students. It intends to give a sound and inventive air for the scholastic welfare of the Post Graduate understudies and Research Scholars.

PG Academic Council is an official understudy body. It goes about as an interface between the Institute arrangement producers and the PG understudies for scholastic issues. The real part of the chamber is to address the worries of the PG understudies with respect to their scholastics and research. It was constituted in 2009. Headed by General Secretary of Academic Affairs (PG), the gathering comprises of a gathering of named Masters and PhD understudies and has step by step developed into a board with partitioned Masters and PhD wing. Both the wings have their own agents from every office/school/focus known as "Scholastic Unit Representative for Academic Affairs" (AURAA).

AURAAs go about as asset individual for their specialties, helping the chamber to pool in and create agreement over issues at their particular offices. AURAAs go about as the hubs of PG chamber to associate with the PG understudies; and co-ordinate with the Executive individuals, Institute Doctoral/Masters agents and General Secretary (Academic Affairs), who speak to the understudies in the Postgraduate Programs Committee (PGPC) and Institute Senate.

To acquire a world class scholastic and research environment for PG understudies of the Institute, to remove the best out of the considerable number of people.

Destinations

Destinations of the PG Academic Council are:

To overhaul and enhance instructive offices for PG understudies.

To take forward and deliver understudies' worries identified with scholastics and research.

To help in reexamining and assessing the educational programs for coordinating the required capability along the mechanical development.

To arrange gatherings, workshops and addresses for the advantage of understudies.
