I have completed my 12th with PCM and planning to pursue engineering degree for this decided to give IIT JEE Exam. Will you tell what the Abbreviation Of IIT-JEE and eligibility required to apply for this IIT JEE Exam also provide important datse to apply for this entrance exam?

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2016 has been conducted by seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) IIT JEE Abbreviation is Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) JEE Main 2016 is a national level entrance test conducted for admission to Engineering, Architecture and other technological courses offered by various government, private and centrally funded institutions including the NITs and IIITs. Eligibility The general and OBC candidates must born on or after 1st October 1991 and the SC/ST/PwD candidates must born on or after 1st October 1986. The candidates must be passed or appearing the 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with PCM group with minimum 50%. The Candidates passed the 12th or its equivalent exam before 2014 will not be eligible for JEE Main 2016. IIT JEE Exam pattern: Some of the important subject-wise topics are as follows- Physics- Includes General Topics, Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics and Modern Physics Mathematics- Includes topics under Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Vectors Chemistry- Includes topics under Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry Important dates: JEE Main 2016 Important Dates JEE Main online application starts – 1st December 2015 JEE Main online application last date – 11th January 2016 Correction period – till 31st January 2016 Availability of JEE Main admit card 2016 – 11 March 2016 (onwards) JEE Main pen and paper based paper – 3rd April, 2016 (Sunday) JEE Main Computer based Paper – 9th & 10th April 2016 (Saturday & Sunday) Display of Answer Key and OMR Sheet – 18th – 22nd April 2016 JEE Main Result 2016 Declaration – 27th April 2016 |
