Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd., Nagpur (F.D.C.M. Ltd.) is a Govt. of Maharashtra enterprise founded in 1974. FDCM Ltd. is a benefit making company pursued in forestry and allied activities. F.D.C.M. Ltd. is contracting several projects of Afforestation on turnkey basis and helping in procedure of creation of vegetative cover which in turn benefits the enterpriser and society in the bigger interest. F.D.C.M. offers consultancy in preparation of Management Plan of private Teak Plantations. F.D.C.M. Ltd. is working on the Project of greening and beautification of municipal fields of Nashik, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchvad and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporations. This programme was to be implemented on forest country that was not allowed for the F.D.C.M.Ltd. Such plantations were demanded to be handed over to the Forest Deptt. after the period of 5 years.
